Inclement Weather Policy
When Prince William County Schools are CLOSED due to snow, ice, and bad weather, the senior centers remain CLOSED. When the Prince William County Schools are DELAYED in opening, the senior centers are OPEN, but without transportation. No meals are served at the senior center or on our Meals on Wheels routes if the center is
closed due to inclement weather.

The Prince William Area Agency on Agency has two senior center locations at Manassas and Woodbridge. Senior centers are open weekdays for a wide variety of classes, programs and activities. Membership is open to persons 55 years of age and older and their spouses, regardless of age. Activities and Classes
Each senior center offers a variety of structured activities and classes which enhance health and wellness, strengthen the mind, and give older adults an opportunity to enjoy time with friends. Activities offered include fitness classes, dancing, computer, seasonal parties, woodcarving, painting, and a variety of craft programs, among many others.
In addition to these, members can also enjoy unstructured activities in the form of cards, board games, a computer lab and puzzles which are available at all times. Exercise equipment, ping pong tables, and a pool table are also available.
Health and Wellness
A variety of special programs related to health and wellness are offered regularly. Seminars on health, weight management, and living well as you age are just some of the educational presentations. One-on-one health consultations with our public health nurse can also be scheduled. Health screenings and immunizations are regularly scheduled.

Membership for residents of Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park is $25 annually. Non-members may participate for a $2 drop in fee per day. Those persons who do not reside in the tri-jurisdictional area of Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park are also welcome to attend the senior center. Membership for non-residents is $35 annually or $5 for a drop in.
Becoming a member is simple. Simply fill out the Senior Center Membership Form
and bring it to the senior center of your choice along with your membership fee. We accept cash and checks, but do not accept credit cards at this time. Once dues are paid you will be given a membership card which you will present each time you visit.
Nutrition Program Lunch
A delicious and healthy lunch is served daily at 12 noon. The menu varies each day offering a hot lunch or chef’s salad as an option. Refer to the calendar in the monthly newsletter for the daily menu. Lunch is a great time to meet new people or visit with friends. Feel free to bring a guest or a family member if you would like. Daily reservations should be made by 10:30 a.m. in person or by phone. Nutrition services are targeted to those 60 years of age or older, and a donation is accepted.
Don't let transportation stop you from attending the Senior Center. Door to door limited transportation is offered for senior center members. A nominal fee is charged and fare cards must be purchased in advance. For transportation to the Manassas Senior Center call 703-792-5956, for transportation to the Woodbridge Senior Center call

Both centers are open Monday through Friday 9am – 4:30pm. The senior centers are closed the last Wednesday of every month. In addition, the centers are closed annually the week of July 4th and the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
