Bluebird Tours
Starting May 1, 2014, the new day trip departure point for Manassas will now be at the Walmart, 9401 Liberia Avenue, Manassas, VA, 20110.  The Walmart is located about 1 mile away from Davis Ford Crossing Shopping Center towards route 28.  Inside the Walmart there is a McDonald’s which opens at 7 am, seven days a week.  Across the street from Walmart is a Chick-fil-a that opens at 6 am Monday-Saturday, but is closed on Sundays.

Bluebird Tours 
The Bluebird Tour Program provides life enriching and fun travel experiences for all residents age 55 and older who reside in Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.

A Bluebird Trip can range from one afternoon to several days and the itineraries appeal to a wide array of interests and tastes.  Previous trips include dinner theatres, Washington D.C. points of interest, New York City, and many others!  Schedules are printed quarterly, and are available at many locations throughout the County: the Agency’s Administrative Office, Manassas Senior Center, Woodbridge Senior Center, libraries, recreation centers, and retirement communities. Some of the popular trips sell out quickly!

Bluebird Tour Policy Manual

Reservation dates are listed in the Bluebird Tour schedules. No reservations will be taken before the initial reservation date. Reservations can be made for up to four people at one time, including yourself.  If a travel companion does not live in Prince William County, or the cities of Manassas or Manassas Park, or if a participant is not yet 55 years of age, a reservation cannot be made for them on reservation day. Exceptions are made for spouses of those who are age 55 or older, who may join their significant other regardless of age.
Participants who do not live in the tri-jurisdictional area, or who are under age 55 may sign up for tours, but must wait three calendar days after the original reservation date. If spaces remain open three days after the reservation date, any resident over 18 years of may participate.
