Woodvale Court Fire Incident
November 28, 2012
On Tuesday, November 27
at approximately 8:00 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a fire in a single-family home located in the 13500 block of Woodvale Court in Woodbridge.
Upon arriving on the scene, fire and rescue units observed smoke showing from the front, side and rear of the home.
Firefighters were notified that everyone was safely out of the home and were directed to the fire in the basement.
Fire and rescue units proceeded to the basement and attacked and extinguished the fire.
Firefighters searched for extension; no further extension was found.
Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family; 2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs.
No injuries were reported.
According to the Fire Marshal’s Office, estimated damages are $40,000.
The origin of the fire was the basement. The Fire Marshal’s Office has classified the fire as undetermined.
