Stable Forest Place Fire Incident
April 10, 2014
On Thursday, April 10
at approximately 6:00 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a 3 story townhouse located in the 8800 block of Stable Forest Place in Bristow.
Upon entry, fire and rescue units proceeded to the second floor where they observed extensive fire damage to the laundry room.
Although the fire had burned out due to insufficient oxygen, the fire damage had extended to the third floor.
No injuries reported.
The resident was not home at the time of the fire.
A Building official was notified to assess the damage and posted the building as unsafe.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshals’ Office.
