On Saturday, August 3, at approximately 4:00 p.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a two-story, single-family home located in the 13200 block of Sapphire Ridge Place in Bristow.
Upon arrival, responding units reported heavy fire in the home. After confirming all occupants were safely out of the residence, firefighters began concentrating their efforts on containing the fire to ensure the fire did not spread to neighboring houses.
No injuries were reported.
County police assisted with scene management.
Red Cross was requested to assist three adults and three children that were displaced.
The preliminary damage estimate is $350,000.
The single-family dwelling has been declared unsafe and posted after an inspection by a representative from the Building Official's office.
The origin and cause of the fire are currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
