On Saturday, October 13th, at 6:35 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to fire alarm activation at Carlyle Station Apartments located in the 10400 block of Butterfield Street in Manassas.
First-arriving units discovered a fire on the third floor balcony with partial extension into a utility closet. A single sprinkler head located in the utility closet activated which helped control the fire.
No injuries were reported.
According to the Fire Marshal’s Office, preliminary damage estimate is $8,000.00.
