Law Clerk Applicants

Law Clerk applicants must plan to graduate from law school by June of 2013 and are expected to take the Virginia Bar exam. Law Clerks begin employment after the Virginia Bar exams in July. Their start date is usually the first Monday of August and ends in a year.

The recruitment process for the next term, 2013-2014, will begin in July, 2012, with a deadline in September, 2012.

Applications must be postmarked by September, 2012 (date to be determined). Interviews will be conducted by the Circuit Court Judges in early October, 2012.

Successful candidates will have to submit to a criminal background check.
