Attorney Access to Court Case Files
The Prince William County Circuit Court Clerk is pleased to offer attorneys, their support staff and officers of the court online access to the scanned documents of Prince William County court cases. The cost for an attorney and one support staff is $200 per year.
The system is known as OCRA, which is the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia’s (SCV) Officer of the Court Remote Access (OCRA) system that enables remote viewing of documents in the Virginia Judicial Case Imaging System. OCRA enables online inquiry only access to currently scanned court case documents in the Case Imaging System, except for juvenile, adoption and sealed cases, as well as those parts of a file that are marked confidential, restricted, sealed, private addendum or victim/witness.
If you see a document that should not be filed in a case or if there is another issue, please contact the Clerk’s Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All documents received since July 13, 2009, have been scanned. The Clerk's Office is scanning recent closed cases. Civil cases from civil number 86000 (CL04086000) to the present that are closed have been scanned. We are currently scanning civil NC cases (CL08-) that have not been destroyed. For criminal cases that have an open -01, we are in the process of scanning the -00 cases.
