PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA. . . Linda R. Satlin was named the Human Resources Director for Prince William County after a competitive nationwide search. Satlin, who has served as the HR Benefits Director for the past 24 years, was identified by the interview committee as the clear top candidate. The Board of County Supervisors approved the hire of Ms. Satlin, and she is expected to begin work June 4, 2014.
"The human resources landscape has changed dramatically over the past few years," said Corey A. Stewart, Chairman. "Ms. Satlin has been instrumental in helping the Board understand impacts to human resources issues. We are looking forward to the experience and knowledge that Ms. Satlin brings to the HR Director position, which will allow Prince William County to continue attracting the best and brightest to Prince William County Government."

Satlin is a certified Human Resources Manager who received her B.A. from The George Washington University. She began her career in marketing with the American Bankers Association and later served a Human Resources officer with Riggs Bank. Satlin has been with Prince William County since 1990 in the role of HR Benefits Manager. She lives with her husband Kenneth, and is the proud parent of two sons, a step-son and step-daughter and has five grandchildren.
