Thanksgiving Holiday Closings
The Prince William Public Library System will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25 and remain closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Neighborhood libraries (Dale City, Dumfries, Gainesville, Independent Hill, Lake Ridge and Nokesville) will also be closed on Saturday, November 28. Neighborhood libraries are not open on Sundays.
Full service libraries (Bull Run, Central, Chinn Park and Potomac) will reopen on Saturday, November 28 at 10:00 a.m.. Full service libraries are open on Sundays from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. |

Rain Barrel Debuts at Nokesville Neighborhood Library Thanks to the efforts of Dona Swanson, Library Manager at Nokesville Neighborhood Library, Curtis Brenner, Library Facility and Services Coordinator, Jeanne Heflin, Water and Conservation District, Countryside Garden Club and Prince William County Park Authority, the first rain barrel for a public library building is in operation. Cell Phone Charms Craft

Don’t let your phone be unadorned! Make a charm from beads.Space is limited and registration is required. A $10 deposit isrequired to reserve a space. This deposit will be returned at the end of the program or if the registration is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the program.

Celebrate American Indian Heritage Month with Mama Mary Sunbeam
Celebrate American Indian Heritage Month at the Potomac Library. Join us for Cherokee drumming, songs, history and storytelling with Mama Mary Sunbeam. Mama Mary has a rich background in Native American history and customs, and this interactive program is designed to help families enjoy learning about, and participating in, Native American customs and stories.
