SAC Scholarship

The School Age Care (SAC) office offers partial scholarships to children of low income families who are eligible to participate in the SAC program at their elementary school. The SAC Scholarship funds a portion of the weekly tuition.

SAC Scholarships are established and awarded per school semester. At the conclusion of the initial scholarship, the family must show that they continue to qualify for the scholarship by bringing or sending copies of their last two paycheck stubs to the SAC office. Scholarships will be re-evaluated to determine parents' continued eligibility.

Funds are limited, and SAC Scholarships will be granted on a “first qualified, first awarded” basis.

If you wish to apply for a partial SAC Scholarship, please click SAC Scholarship Worksheet
to get the worksheet needed to apply. The worksheet must be completed and returned to the SAC office along with your SAC Application for registration, and, with copies of all income sources checked on the worksheet.

The SAC Scholarship Worksheet WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED unless submitted with the SAC Application for registration, OR, if the child is already registered in SAC for the current school year.

The SAC Scholarship Worksheet and accompanying income copies must be submitted to the SAC office by fax 703-792-6893, mail, in-person or drop-box, any time August through May of the current school year; and in June and July for Summer Camp only. SAC Scholarships are not retroactive; and will begin the Monday following the partial scholarship award.
