Dental Services  




 
 
Mission: To help patients prevent dental disease and to enjoy excellent dental health. Patients are encouraged to receive periodic exams and preventive services such as cleanings and sealants.

Eligibility Criteria: Children ages 3-18 and senior citizens who reside in Prince William County, Manassas or Manassas Park are seen by appointment Monday through Friday at both locations.
 
 County Health Department Dentist working on a citizen
Patient must have Medicaid, or, if not eligible for Medicaid, must qualify according to state financial eligibility guidelines. The new state child health insurance plan is accepted as well.
 
Clinical Dental Services
Children's Services (age 3-18): Comprehensive dental services are provided to qualified children and teens. Services include exams, cleanings, dental health education, fluoride treatments, sealants, silver and plastic restorations, stainless steel crowns, root canals, non surgical extractions, periodontal care and specialty referrals as needed.
 
Appointments are scheduled in advance.
 
Periodic exams and preventive services are encouraged. Patients may be enrolled in an automatic recall program in order to assure regular care.
 
Senior Citizens (Age 60+): Comprehensive care is offered to qualified senior citizens. Services include exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, silver and plastic restorations, root canals, non surgical extractions, periodontal care, dentures, partial dentures and specialty referrals as needed.
 
Appointments are scheduled in advance.
 
Patients are requested to pay a portion of the cost of dentures and partial dentures if possible. Senior citizens may apply or receive additional information through the Prince William Area Agency on Aging (703-792-6400).
 
Adult Emergencies: Qualified low income adults can request appointments for emergency dental care with the Prince William Area Free Clinic (703-792-6378), or contact 'Healthlink' for assistance at 703-392-4901.
