Do you need a new Solid Waste Disposal Residential Decal for access to the landfill?
The Too Good To Waste Place at the PWC Landfill is now open with new rules to ensure the safety of all customers. All users of the facility must comply with these rules. The hours of operation of the Too Good To Waste Place are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The area is fenced and customers are asked to leave the facility by 4 p.m.
There is a daily 20 minute limit at the facility.
The facility will be monitored by the Police and surveillance cameras. Residents may drop-off or pick up items that can still be used, such as appliances, furniture, building supplies, bicycles, home fixtures, etc. For your safety, the following items are NOT ACCEPTED at the Too Good To Waste Place: mattresses, chemicals, paints, liquids, glass panes, clothing, electronics, computers, monitors, televisions, and any other items deemed unacceptable by landfill staff. (Click on the links to find out where to dispose of those items.)
Please keep children in vehicles at all times.
Please be courteous and considerate of other customers and County staff. Let's work together to make the Too Good To Waste Place a success.
Firewood is accepted during the burning season (no pine please!). When there is an overabundance of firewood you may dispose of it as yard waste. There is no charge for this service.
